All Quiet on the Martian Front Updates!

Progress continues at a furious pace on the hundreds (literally) of different models we will be releasing with All Quiet on the Martian Front. Among all of the releases though, one model stands out above all others...

This model is over 12 inches long and weighs over 4 pounds! It is unlike anything you will see on a 15mm battlefield!

And this is just the first of two Ironclads coming for the game. The Thunderchild II is on its way soon...

If you were part of the Kickstarter, exciting news in today's update. Head over to the All Quiet page for all the details:

New Year - New Blog!

Welcome back to the Alien Dungeon Blog! Hope everyone is staying warm in this crazy cold winter and painting lots of models and playing games!

We have been working hard on so many projects over the past months that the Blog has fallen a bit by the wayside. Well we are committed to making sure that doesn't happen any longer! We have a lot of cool hobby related projects we are looking forward to showing you over the coming weeks as well as behind the scenes info on All Quiet on the Martian Front, Fanticide, and even some secret projects!

We would also love to hear from all of you! If you have some great models you have been working on for Fanticide or All Quiet on the Maritan Front then we want to hear from you! Head over to the Forums (http://robotpeanutstudios.proboards.com/) and show them off! We will be checking there daily to see great stuff and may even showcase it here on the blog!

In the meantime, our friends over at Evil Bob Painting have been working on some awesome Creeps for a customer. Check out all the goodies here: http://evilbobs.blogspot.com/2014/01/more-creeps.html and here are some highlights!

Update on All Quiet on the Martian Front Kickstarter

Happy New Year!

Well, we have been quiet during December, but only because we have been b-u-s-y.  After not shipping in December, we were all determined to hunker down and get this stuff out so that’s what we have been doing while “sales” handled the Holiday orders.  That meant lots of hard work but we should have been more diligent with updates.

Besides All Quiet, we have, of course, had to manage the rest of our business and we had the best November and December ever.  So, first things first, to all of you already shopping our goods, THANK YOU!

On to All Quiet on the Martian Front.

We have been making strong progress but alas the plastics are not on pace at the moment.  So, I am not sure what the final ship date is…yet.  Still shooting for this month - January 2014. We will keep you posted.

Plastic Tooling - All the tooling is done, but I don’t have any shots yet.  Everybody left for two weeks over the holiday.  So, at this moment, we are still waiting for “first shots”.  That will tell us how long the debug will take.  “Debug” is the process of adjusting the tools to get the molds running perfectly.  Once that is done, we start cranking out sprues - one every 13 seconds or so. NO ONE is more anxious for the presses to run on these than me so YES, I will keep you posted.  Below, you will also find a picture of the plastic injection molding tools.

A huge amount of the metal and resin production is done and pack out has actually begun.  There is a picture below of Zombies and Dough boys being packed. Yes, those are actually yours.

Here is our first Martian Army done up all in production pieces. Sadly, we haven’t had time to use it much.

Print proofs are in too. They don’t have the right covers in terms of material, but they are complete and the inside is spot on with the right paper weight and resolution. We are reading through these and doing a final/final accuracy check right now.  See the picture below.

We have lots of stuff – BEF, guns, guns, guns, Ironclads and so on. The trenches in both sizes are coming in as well. So lots on and we are busy.

We feel concentrating on getting the manufacturing done and the ship date nailed down takes priority over everything else… but we will do our best to be more “regular” with updates.
